The Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership is a voluntary body made up of representatives from business, academia and the wider public sector. The Partnerships overarching aim is to be the catalyst for realising Oxfordshires economic and commercial potential. It will act as an informed, independent advocate for the drivers of innovation and growth. In addition this role, the Partnership will prioritise on key programmes to address the high priority deficiencies identified within the county, rather than trying to do everything itself. In setting out a single, clear vision for the longer-term future of Oxfordshires economy the Partnership will provide collective leadership by the most senior and high-profile private, academic and public-sector leaders. It will build upon existing working arrangements at the local level to align its work on economic and commercial growth; planning, housing, transport and infrastructure priorities; skills requirements and business support. The Partnership is a light-touch, multi-tiered body that will continue to evolve over time in response to the changing needs of the economic and commercial community.

The INDEPENDENT, COUNTYWIDE free advice service for people seeking help starting a business or in the early stages of running one, throughout the entire Oxfordshire area. Oxfordshire Business Enterprises is the enterprise service for Oxfordshire and the surrounding area. Its role is to provide the right advice to help people start and run a business, so if you want to learn more about how to start yours, youve come to the right place. Oxfordshire Business Enterprises was formed in 2003 by combining two previous enterprise agencies, NORBIS and TBAC, to produce one agency to provide business startup services to the whole of Oxfordshire and the surrounding area. We are a non-profit making organisation supported by all Oxfordshires local authorities and co-ordinated from Cherwell District Councils offices in Banbury.
